RNI received notification on July 15th that it has received a prestigious SBIR grant from the National Institutes of Aging, a member of the NIH. The grant is for $100K and includes research that will be performed at Case Western Reserve University Hospital. The project entitled "Enhanced IGF-1 Production in Human Cartilage" was recognized for its innovative and new approach to rebuild cartilage and prevent joint dysfunction associated with osteoarthritis.
RNI plans to launch the product, IGFlex, after its R&D efforts are completed,
currently scheduled for 2005. Based on the preliminary research
that enabled RNI to win this prestigious award, this innovation
represents a revolutionary approach to the treatment of
osteoarthritis and joint damage. RNI remains committed to
